Radarscope is well worth the $10 a year. There’s no fluff, or ads, or any extra crap to bog down the app. Even when I barely have cell service it’ll still work. I like the lightning data also. It’s pretty quick, and I can measure how far it is away. Pretty important to me, and the people around me, when we’re outside. Those are the first several big reasons I’ve been paying for it since it came out. I also like that’s there’s no “future animation” or forecasting. I have other apps for that, all I want is the rawest radar data I can get, plus there’s over 20 different products to look at from the radar. There’s so much data available it can be overwhelming learning them all, but once you get your feet wet you’ll be able to see in real time what’s coming. It’s saved our asses more than once. I’m on the south end of tornado alley, so the weather here can be insane. I’ve only got tier 1, but I pay for it on my phone which allows me to have it on my iPad, and I pay $30 a year for the Mac version as well. There’s a lot more people on the Facebook page. According to the description of Pro Tier 2 on the app, the historical data ranges from “30 days to 28 years”. I think it depends on the product, and level 2 data goes back further. It’s $14.99 USD per month or $99.99 USD per year for that tier. More on reddit.com

They’re both good but I prefer RadarScope as there’s a bigger community and it has a more simple design but that’s just me. More on reddit.com
