Rain defender hoodies, run big or true to size?
Alternatives to Carhartt Heavyweight Hoodie?
Reliable hoodies
New Rain Defender Hoodie Quality?
I’m looking at getting one of these hoodies. I was going to get the zip-up, but after reading about the zipper quality I’m going with the pullover. Does anyone here have one of these hoodies and how does it fit? I wear and xl t shirt, but I’ve read reviews on that you should size down.
Was thinking about getting the Carhartt heavyweight rain defender quarter zip hoodie after seeing it recommended all around on posts from 2-9 years ago, but stumbled onto a ton of far more recent posts and discussions (less than a year old) that all talked about how lots of Carhartt clothing, including the hoodie that interested me, had taken a nosedive in quality over the last while. A lot of people who, like me, didnt do any physical labour for work were also complaining about clothing wearing out within a year to a few months.
Im wondering if there are any similar plain-ish hoodies available for guys that are specifically:
Heavy/Warm (for winter in the UK, so around 0°C/32°F and up)
Comfy. I'll be wearing it at home as well as out and about.
-Preferrably under £70, but up to £100 if really good value.
-A large hood, with plenty of room. I hate hoodies where the hood barely gets within an inch or two of my hairline
-Good quality/durability. The Carharrt hoodie I was after was very well reviewed, but recent ones were far more negative
Im british, and not hugely picky about where it's from/made, as long as it's good quality. Any suggestions would be welcome!
It's that time of the year and I'm looking for recommendations for hoodies that can handle this job for more than a season. Hoodie can get pretty pricey but don't hold up very well so any reliable brand or material to look for would be appreciated.
