I got a Razer Huntsman Mini yesterday, the keyboard works fine, but it wont detect in Synapse 3.
My Deathadder does get detected by Synapse, just not the keyboard.
I tried updating the firmware, reinstalled synapse 3, nothing.
is there anyway to fix this?

If your device is not supported by Razer Synapse, then it is incompatible and does not need Razer Synapse to work.

June 17, 2022 - Ok soo, I have a Huntsman keyboard not 2 years old and have no complaints, now last week I had a razer synapse update, since then the rgb lighting will not change in synapse, I can’t change the colour at all or the pattern (spectrum, flashing etc) and I can’t sync with other razer items (Goliath rgb mouse mat) I uninstalled synapse and lights work fine they syncs up, I tried reinstalling synapse and problems returned, I have contacted razer who are just a baffled at present.

I've just purchased this keyboard and almost returned it because lighting profiles presumably require Synapse. And it seems that this info isn't visible enough:
It is possible to have custom (to some degree) effects stored on keyboard without installing Synapse software.

You can press fn + ctrl + [1-7] to change current back-light effect. Fn + menu selects an on-board profile (there's 5 of them). And then for example, fn+ctrl+2 sets given profile to static color. Fn+ctrl+2 again changes the static color to a different one. Fn+ctrl+4 is the default spectrum effect. And on top of that keyboard still remembers all macros and hypershift. So now I can use built-in color effects and macros even on linux or in bios.
And this isn't mentioned anywhere in the manual of the keyboard... I hope next people with similar problem will find this info faster than I.

So i just got my Huntsman Mini keyboard yesterday and it worked, today i tried it and it stops lighting up when i open Synapse, but my mouse (Viper Ultimate) works as i programmed it do to. How do i fix this? also is there a way to keep the lighting without having to wait for synapse to boot up and have it not run in the background? thx

Did you check the brigthness settings? You can change the lighting effects of your Razer Huntsman Mini without Razer Synapse 3. Choose a Chroma effect for each number key: FN + ctrl + 1 Off FN + ctrl + 2 Static FN + ctrl + 3 Breathing FN + ctrl + 4 Spectrum Cycle FN + ctrl + 5 Wave FN + ctrl + 6 Reactive FN + ctrl + 7 Starlight

I think it may be some Synapse bug, as seen many similar posts today. And the clean install won’t help.You can contact Razer Support: https://mysupport.razer.com/app/warranty-support/@[email protected]

I just got the huntsmen mini and plugged it in. I restarted my computer and all works but it does not show up inside of synapse 3.
