I has a Mous Clarity (clear case) for an iPhone 12 Pro and it held up all these years. I bought the 15 Pro this year and I bought the new Mous Clarity for it. I saw the EAP video for the drop test and remembered he makes cases. I like the look of it more than the Mous case.
I was debating on returning my Mous case and buying a clear Rebel 5. Problem is, I don’t see many people talking about them in a positive light. In particular I’m seeing lots of cracked clear cases in this sub. Along with many people not recommending the cases.
Are they really that bad?

I love the edgeless carbon one had it on my 11 pro max since the 12 came out and it's held up pretty well it's kinda falling apart but mostly from me picking at it and keeping it in my pocket at work. I grind my pockets against a metal bar basically my whole shift but it's held up pretty well under these circumstances. Never cracked my phone with this case but there's always a chance he did a good job with the lips they protect the phone exceptionally well. The green on the 11pro max did discolor a little more and get scratched more than the rest but for the feeling of the case I feel it was worth. He does include side stickers but I didn't wanna use em lol. $20 on sale well spent. Edit: edgeless, as in the case with no sides

I really enjoy the flex cases (exposed sides), they’re extremely protective, but I also don’t beat the heck out of my phone! Ive always have gotten responses from their customer service as well. So I’m not sure what is up with the hit or miss customer service, but I personally have not had a problem, they even replaced the case for me for free, and all I had to do is pay shipping.

I know it may sound ridiculous but I wonder how well these cases hold up from drops if it’ll cause scratches or not and if it’s worth buying

I’ve had one since the iPhone 11 Pro it’s an awesome case. Protects the phone well. My kids go crazy with my phone it’s been dropped a million times. The only downside which isn’t a case thing at all but an iPhone thing, the sides are exposed. My green 11 pro has started to loose its color on the sides (I imagine the oils on my skin has started to wear it after years of use). I’ve had the phone since release so it’s like 5 years old so I suppose it’s to be expected. I’ve seen the same from people who run a caseless phone.

I have the aramid fiber one. That case is better with drops than most regular cases. Unless you drop it on the corner of a table or something then it’s perfectly fine. Any flat surface and you’re golden. It’s probably the most protective case I own as far as drops go and I have at least 15 cases. Hell even my mous limitless left me with a broken phone but this one hasn’t.
