Hey team. Would REALLY appreciate some help with this. I feel like, as someone who’s not 100% tech savvy I’ve exhausted all realistic self-help options. Pictures available upon request.
So. I’ve sold my HP All In One (system details in the comments). Went to wipe the system, reset everything, and reinstall windows. Got stuck on resetting 99% for over 24 hours. Okay. Google search. Interrupted the reset and had it try again. This time got stuck on 64% Windows reinstall and stuck in a restart loop. Alright. Google search. Corrupted BIOS? I can figure that out.
After searching and searching for the right BIOS recovery download, I’ve found the one for my motherboard ID, but the BIOS file is F.22 when mine was F.33. Okay. Download & try to execute the file but cannot get the utility to open and install on a USB.
Fine. Found one for BIOS F.33. Get it onto a USB. Plug it in to reset PC and bam, BIOS update failed. What in the world can I do? I was expected to ship the computer on 7/7, and now this process has taken all weekend. Local repair shops are 1. Expensive and 2. Closed on Sundays.
