August 16, 2011 - I realize this is an old thread but I was looking for a way to run 2" roloc discs electrically at a rt angle. A 4 1/2" grinder can be adapted to run them. After a long search I found a 5/8-11 female to 1/4-20 male adapter at MSC. There are roloc pads available in both R and C styles with a 1/4-20 female mounting thread. They usually come with a 1/4" shaft adapter to use them in a regular die grinder or drill but you don't need it for this.

April 2, 2007 - Ok, I am wrong- there is no reason for them not to make corded electric right angle grinders, if they can make cordless ones- although, the duty cycle of a cordless tool is a lot less than a corded one, and it could be they can get away with the lighter use a cordless gets, but a corded model might self destruct- I dont know, but I do know I want a corded electric one as well.
