Logging out of Amazon SageMaker Canvas - Amazon SageMaker AI
When you log out of Canvas, your models and datasets aren't affected. Any quick or standard model builds or large data processing jobs continue running even if you log out. To log out, choose the Log out button ( ) on the left panel of the SageMaker Canvas application.

December 18, 2024 - There is a "Workspace Instance Session-Hour" charge running (see AWS docs on sagemaker-ai canvas pricing structure) even though you are logged out of Canvas, and this won't be visible to you in the Console, so you won't be able to shut it down. It's not an EC2, a VPC, storage, or any of the other usual suspects.

September 24, 2021 - This feels like a bug, because without such a button the only way to stop charges on a Sagemaker user is to use the CLI, which I eventually did. You can only delete the domain if you have deleted all users, meaning it only works using the CLI for that as well.
