What charging compatibility do Galaxy Buds cases offer?
Are there differences in battery life among cases?
What protective features should be considered?
I dont even know how it happened but it did. I called Samsung and they blatantly told me they don't sell replacement parts and that I should look somewhere else.
Any good suggestions for a replacement case, or ways to charge without one? I don't need to have the original case/style, but dont wanna throw away the fact that I already have the buds. Thanks everyone!
If you're one of innumerable people like myself who somehow lost their Galaxy Buds charging cradle but retained the earbuds only to run into the terribly frustrating scenario of Samsung not selling the Galaxy Buds case separately, look no further, this is the most viable solution.
Most folks on the internet recommend that you just buy another pair of Buds since Samsung formally provides no alternative solution, however Samsung's actually tremendously helpful when it comes to this.
Head over to the closest Samsung service centre near you.
All you need is a picture of your bill, so the service centre representative can acquire the bill number and crosscheck that you've purchased the buds from the same country to provide service. (The box with the product serial number should work too. In case you don't have either, just call/visit the store you purchased the buds from and they'll send you another copy of the receipt from their records.)
Tell the service centre reps you've misplaced your Galaxy Buds case and would like a new one.
Once they've approved your purchase, they'll just mark your Buds cradle as damaged/defective and provide you with a new case for a very reasonable amount. (I got mine for 3000 INR in India, which is about 42 USD)
PS - Since you've lost your original case anyway, being eccentric might make you feel a tad bit better. Hit a different coloured case than your buds and stand out. (I've picked out a black case for my yellow Buds)
