Items inserted through an interface get in a random chest, but there are ways to sort them: Use filtered link cable of a certain pruority to make your storage fill orderly. The first chest to be filled will be the one connected to the lowest number link cable, so if you have chest -1, 0 and +1 they will fill start from -1 until full then 0 then 1 and so on and so forth. Use filtered link cables to sort items: set the filter to "allow item" (change the square from red to gray) and put in the filter the item(s) you want to have in the chest. Remember that items already present in other chests in the network will not be automatically sorted, so you have to move them to your inventory and then put them back in the interface. Now they will be sorted. Also set all sorted chest priorities to -1 points with respect to other chests priorities: if say you have some chests connected with normal link cables (priority 0) or to filtered link cables with priority 0 and you insert an item in the interface , it may end up in an unfiltered chest anyways. So make sure all filtered chests have priority number diminished by 1 with respect to other unsorted chests. This will make the storage check for them first (remember: lower means first, higher means next) than any random one. So with the example above, let's say you have your unsorted OCD storage with chests with priorities +1, +2, ..., +10. It means that all your filtered link cables must have priority 0 or lower. They can all have priority 0 though, they don't need to be like 0, -1,... -10 etc. The mod is still in developement and does not always work properly. Sometimes when you change something in the network it will not update. To solve that, put a sticky piston next to the storage root and a button. "Shaking" (displacing then replacing) the network root every time you change something makes sure it gets updated. I have also designed an automatic system that sorts every item already present in the unsorted storage if you connect a new filtered chest. Every network needs 1 Storage Network Root in order to function. Then you need a way to access the items, either the Storage Request Table (you need 1 pog to craft it) which you can use to craft items directly from the storage, or the Storage Inventory which is cheaper to craft but it can only pull items out/put them into your network. These can be placed on top of or next to the Storage Network Root, or attached with a regular Network Cable. Now, your actual storage system is going to be a bunch of chests. You can attach chests to your system with Link Cables, and then make sure your link cables + chests are connected to your Storage Network Root and you should be able to access the contents of those chests by right clicking on your Storage Request Table or Storage Inventory.
