Clarity on Opus 4.5 pricing
The closest I got to an answer was: Models | Cursor Docs which is currently showing the same price for Sonnet 4.5 and Opus 4.5, but I suspect this was only true for the promotion period. Has anyone got a really clear answer on what the pricing is going to be? More on forum.cursor.com

I knew that sonnet 4.5 was relatively expensive, not THIS expansive.
My opinion that I just came up with; Is there a use case for sonnet 4.5? Yeah, if you’re a vibe coder. If you’re using ai very sporadically to think for you when you ran out of steam or for whatever reason, you’re fine with waiting for GPT 5 even though it’s slow as heck. If you’re using ai as a tool to just write for you, groks fast models do the job instantly if your prompts are precise and don’t need extra logic just text output. And if you’re a vibe coder you’d wait a century for gpt 5 codex high to output file after file for you, while fast models like Gemini 2.5 flash or grok fast can’t handle the amount of logic and context that need to be handled for you. So you go with sonnet. More on reddit.com

I saw support was added to Bedrock and then the commit was reverted, then a fix was made that excluded Bedrock. Is there a blocker to support 4.5 in Bedrock? More on reddit.com

Claude Sonnet 4.5 is probably the “best coding model in the world” (at least for now)
September 29, 2025 - Anthropic gave me access to a preview version of a “new model” over the weekend which turned out to be Sonnet 4.5. My initial impressions were that it felt like a better model for code than GPT-5-Codex, which has been my preferred coding model since it launched a few weeks ago.

3 weeks ago - Would be interested to see what it looks like to have Opus 4.5 plan and GPT 5.2 do the implementation. I've found in my own experience that the GPT models are very poor at planning, but generally very good at following the instructions that they have. ... For me gpt never follow my instruction and do extra thing that I never asked, Gemini is really bad at coding still, sonnet or opus are the best option on the market now for coding. Gpt pro should never be taken into account because it insane in price 🤪
