this case would be a total win except for one major fail and one mini fail. all in all its a okay value, and most importantly it is one of very few cases that has magsafe and does not lose s pen functionality with an accessory attached. it offers above average protection, looks attractive and mostly seems well made. the kickstand is really flimsy and only works in landscape. they could have easily made it sturdier and positioned to work in portrait. what has me looking for my next case (probably the magbak) is that the volume buttons on this case are completely smooth with the rest of the case so there is no tactile way to find them, you have to look or guess. the power button has a little indentation making it easy to find, but the volume buttons are blind. would totally give this a 5 star except for the buttons. knowing this flaw, i might not have bothered with it as i use the volume buttons frequently, but the magbak was back ordered so needed a decent case in the meantime. had it not had this flaw, probably would have been long term happy with this case.

this and the magbak are the only two cases i have found that have shielding that protect s pen functionality. what are others?
