I've been in the market for a standing desk for some time. I've been doing a lot of research and haven't really found much that matches what I am looking for at a reasonable price. My requirements are the following:
-
Desk has some sort of storage built in, ideally a couple of sets of drawers on each side
-
Good cable management and something that doesn't look like dorm room furniture
-
Ability to support 3+ monitors
This is my current setup (please excuse the horrible editing): https://imgur.com/a/KFSEZgD
3 of the walls have built-ins and 1 wall is a window, so I don't have anywhere I can just set a desk up against a wall.
The closest I've found that would work are these: https://www.zurifurniture.com/office/ford-adjustable-height-desk-black-oak https://www.standupdesks.com/sit-stand-executive-desk
Both are too expensive and the desk from Zuri would make things a bit tight in the room. The current desk is 66 in wide x 33 in deep and is probably the max the room can fit. Ideally I would like to spend around $1,500 USD since I am able to get reimburse that amount. I may be willing to spend a total of $2,000 USD if it is the perfect desk.
I am also open to the idea of building a desk. To make that work I would need good plans since I am not a very handy person.
Any ideas?
