If you like the way it looks, go for it. If you're still in hs people will definitely clown on you or give you weird looks, but it's whatever. I wear cropped pants like 2 or 3 times a week with Hi's or cons and that shit looks clean as fuck, broads love it, but everyone will think you're kinda fruity for a while. More on reddit.com

Oh girl, I got you. I'm 36, 5'8", 30 in inseam, and a baby pooch, running around after two kids. My go-to look these days is these jeans , which have a nice high rise and material thick enough to hold my belly in as long as I'm also engaging my core. I pair them with a simple T-shirt, either a "cropped" shirt that hits at the waistband so it's highlighting the waistband but not showing actual tummy ( this Tshirt in the tall length fits me perfectly as long as I don't shrink it in the dryer, lol ), or a French tuck. White sneakers (CLEAN) and I add some jewelry to elevate it a bit (merricksart has some great posts about making simple outfits look more finished that have really helped me, highly recommend her IG) and I'm set for mom life. Having my shoes clean, my hair and makeup semi-tidy, and my jewelry on helps me look intentional versus "I just threw on jeans and a Tshirt." I'm experimenting with shackets on top as we transition into fall. With a wider/looser leg you might tuck a fitted-but-not-skintight T-shirt in for more balance. Having a good high rise that goes all the way to your waist is key, and having your shirt hit there to define your waist will help lengthen your legline. More on reddit.com
