key detail to preface - this is regarding one of the gift cards you get when you spend enough money on a certain kind of product so they’re the more flimsy papery ones
okay so basically I got a $15 gift card on my last trip and it has been a while since my last trip so I had to look up how much was on the card. I peeled off the little sticker over the security code instead of scraping it with a coin just so I could see it better, but in doing so I also ripped off almost the entirety of the part of the card that has the code on it so that the only numbers you can see on the card are the first and last. I tried to stick that part back onto the card because I knew I would need it if I wanted to use the card, but it has since fallen off and I can’t find it anywhere. do I just not get to use the gift card anymore or is there something I can do to try to recover the security code?
