A fun little stop near the Golden Gate Bridge. Lover’s Lane is located in the Presidio of San Francisco Park. There is much more you can explore in this park: trails and nature, fun events, historic sites, and amazing Golden Gate Bridge views. I have only drove across the Golden Gate Bridge and honestly driving across it didn’t do much for me but I’ve been told from friends that walking or biking across it is definitely worth it.

July 28, 2025 - Another option is the PresidiGO Shuttle, which is free and stops at many locations in the Presidio, including Baker Beach. If you choose to drive, you'll find parking lots available. While San Francisco isn't known for being a beach town, the city's Baker Beach is often considered one of the best in California.
