Hey guys I am newish to the pc gaming space and I have gotten some birthday money and thought I should upgrade to a better TKL keyboard. Right now I am using a Redragon K552 with some switches that are like traditional white (link). My budget is around $1`00, here is a list I compiled of ones that looked good. Let me know what you guys think or you have any other opinions on other keyboards.

  • Glorious GMMK TKL (23% off at the moment, seems like a great option for the most customizability and longevity. Currently my top choice.)

  • Keychron K8 (Seems like a fan favorite and has great cross-compatibility. Bluetooth is always a plus. Seems a bit tall.)

  • Drop Entr (Really like the color scheme at the moment but that can always change. Also this is the only one that doesn't have RGB which might be a deal-breaker if this keyboard isn't completely worth it.)

  • Corsair K70 RGB TKL (Not 100% sure about this one. I really like the multimedia buttons up top and the volume knob, but not sure about its customizability and it might look a bit tacky if it were customized down the line.)

Let me know what you guys think!

A cheap, silent, low-profile 80% TKL wireless mechanical keyboard. Is there any? : r/keyboards
August 22, 2023 - If youre current keyboard is fine besides the loud switches, you could swap them, due to your board being Hotswap. If you buy silent tactile switches or red switches, your board will be quieter. Otherwise the Redragon K621 Horus TKL with the red switches is probably something for you, besides the regular battery it ticks all boxes. TKL (80%), wireless (tri Mode: BT and Dongle), low profile, mechanical with red linear switches -> pretty quiet, no wrist rest and $80

Looking to buy a TKL mechanical keyboard. I'm going for a sleek, minimalistic look and have no intention of modifying it. I'll be using it for work and simple gaming. My budget is $90 (let me know if I need a rude awakening if this is a low budget. I'm new to keyboards). Please let me know brands you recommend. I'll see what you guys have to say before I check out Amazon.
