Since Sunday is not a business day it will process Monday and you should see the check Tuesday! Unless there is a hold which you will be sent a email. More on reddit.com

This is not uncommon in banks they are simply trying to protect the account information. I know on the surface. Your first reaction is going to be well. I'm not asking for the account number. “I'm just simply asking them to fill out the deposit slip on my behalf.” The problem is by doing so they are disclosing that a customer has an account at their bank. That is a breach of privacy. In addition, this practice also protect their customers, from being the victim of fraud. My best advice is to send an email to your landlord, explaining the situation and asking them for an alternative method to make your payments since their bank has this policy. More on reddit.com

Truist sent letters to all their clients explaining this change. You're always welcome to deposit in-branch; immediate availability on mobile deposit is a convenience, not a right. The bank inherently takes on more risk to deliver this type of option since, as you are hopefully aware, sometimes people write bad checks or forge then. More on reddit.com

Hey! I was wondering how long it took for checks to be deposited if you scanned it through the app. I got the check as a graduation gift, and I scanned it on a Sunday, which isn’t a banking day. Was wondering if you guys know how long it usually takes. Thanks!

It depends on the amount of the check. Typically it’s a next business day availability unless there is a hold placed on it! In your case if you deposit it Sunday. Since Sunday is not a business day it will process Monday and you should see the check Tuesday! Unless there is a hold which you will be sent a email.

I went in the branch to deposit a $1,500 check there's no record of that in my online banking account the only thing it says is $100 check credit and next to it it says pending nowhere in the app does it say anything about the $1,400 that I'm supposed to be getting and they said there was no hold on that so does anyone know what's going on Will a process the check tonight Friday night and put the funds in my account tonight or am I going to have to wait till Monday?

Prob have to wait till monday, but it might go through in the morning. pro tip, ask them to cash the check and then deposit it to have funds available immediately
