I see a lot of youtubers that I follow suggest that an account there is worth it and maybe even essential for some great tips and courses. Do you use them? Are they good?

Caveat: I'm writing about STEM. IMHO, no. Usually the content is shallow and sometimes very easy to give you an illusion that you're digging through the course. You learn when you solve, think and struggle (assignments), get tested (exams), discuss solutions, etc. I suggest sticking to quality materials like MIT OCW, good YouTube lectures, etc. That being said I if I were to pick from those 4, Coursera/EdX (free/audit) course and Brilliant free daily problem + wiki are good. The best is joining a program at a Uni (but not right now). Try auditing some courses at EdX or Coursera. Don't pay. Knowledge is plenty and free on the Internet.
