Now shein return have QR code too and people came in thinking it doesn't be to be packaged up like amazons. smfh

I bought a few things from shein totaling $106 that I want to return. Shein is telling me that the items can only be returned using a UPS QR code.
The issue is that there isn't a single UPS drop off box, access point, or drop off location in my entire county that accepts the QR codes...They don't have the equipment to scan the QR codes, so it's a liability issue. This also means unfortunatrly that I can't simply print out and tape the QR code onto the package. UPS drivers also don't have the equipment to scan the QR codes, so scheduling a pickup at my house unfortunately isnt an option either.
Shein is refusing to provide me an actual shipping label so that I can return these items...like they're literally so unhelpful. They won't even provide me with a shipping label that I can pay for, which Id be fine with considering I'd at least get most of my money back that way.
Has anyone else gone through this? If I could use the QR code to do the return I obviously would! I've never had any issues returning things via a regular shipping label before...had I known it was going to be a problem in advance I never would have bought the stuff! 😭
is any other store experiencing difficulty scanning the Shein QR code returns? It used to work just fine before and i’m not sure if there’s a new update or bug but the only way it’ll scan is if i scan it directly from their email, which honestly is way too time consuming bc customers spend like 10 mins tryna find their QR code in the app let alone finding it in the email.

Click on the QR code

Copy the number from the bottom of it

Go back to Returns > modify return
-
Click “more”

This brings up the directions to print a label

Enter the number you copied from the QR code, along with YOUR return zip code
I found this a bit confusing- hopefully this helps someone else who doesn’t want to stand in line at the post office!
Hi y’all- I’m so annoyed because shein returns used to be so easy for me! I’d package it up, print the label, and drop it off at a USPS pick up location. It was awesome. But now they send these QR codes and it requires actually going to the post office and waiting in line just to get it scanned? That is so annoying. 😡 Why did they get rid of the labels and only send QR codes now? I won’t order anything I’m hesitant about because I want to make sure I don’t have to go to the post office for returns. I hate the post office. 🫠
