Opinions on Varidesk? I don't see it mentioned much here!
My only post purchase experience with Vari has been great. I was calling because my sit-stand desk was no longer going up (on one leg!), and within a 2 minute conversation, established that I was covered in warranty for a newer model completely free. I received my new desk within 3 business days which was astonishing to me since I was doing a similar transaction for my earbuds, and that took 10 business days. Very friendly and professional sounding staff when I called in, and am enjoying the new desk as I write this! More on reddit.com

Thanks for the review. I had just ordered one of these on a bit of a whim earlier. I had originally been deciding between the cheaper Autonomous or more expensive Jarvis. I really didn't want to pay more than ~$500 but was afraid of some of the Autonomous reviews, and couldn't pull the trigger on either after a couple of weeks of debating. I happened to see in another post here that this desk is available through Office Depot with a 30% off coupon - 63476940. So I was able to get it for ~$455 before tax, with estimated delivery 8/10, earlier than Autonomous or Jarvis were quoting. So it seemed like a higher quality desk for near Autonomous pricing (although not quite as big as the XL). I didn't do a ton of research on this one compared to the others before ordering, but hopefully made a good choice... This review helps. And hopefully the coupon may help others. More on reddit.com

I just got a Vari 60x30 with comfort edge and love it. No issues and rock solid stability. Just make sure you get the optional cable management tray. If you have any questions with it let me know. More on reddit.com

I just got the Uplift V2 commercial with a 72*24" walnut butcher block top and love it. Sturdy desk, well built. Customer support was awesome for the questions I did have. Assembly was a breeze and easy to follow (~2h). I recommend getting the Modesty Panel with Wire Management for cables. It was a life safer for me (check my post history for my cable management photo). I also got the Basic Wire Management kit ($29) and it helped tons. The USB charging power hub is cool but kinda bulky tbh, and I ended up not installing the headphone hooks yet. Also got the bamboo Motion-X Board (the other one has only two ranges of motion and this one has all). Happy to answer questions/send photos if you want. More on reddit.com

I used to work for an employer who had Varidesk converters everywhere. Those were nice. However, now that I work from home fully, I think for the aesthetic, I'd prefer an actual desk that raises as well. I found this one on Varidesk that looks nice - any reason why this wouldn't work as a no frills standing desk?
