I'm in for a grinder. I'm very new into coffee, and i'm researching What grinder tot buy. Tomorrow, I'll visit a roaster where they sell the encore and the virtuoso. I'm making my coffee using a bialetti, and V60. Now with pre grinded beans. Maybe Ill buy an espresso someday, but not the first years.
They sell the encore for 150 EUR, and the virtuoso for 260, or 240, not sure. Is the virtuoso plus worth the extra money?

I spent the extra money because it looks better to me, is significantly less noisy and significantly faster, and has a timer which can save me time when I don’t want to take time to weigh out coffee. Also, I think the motor and gearing is an upgrade which should add to longevity, but I don’t think that’s been an issue with the encore anyway. I think the looks swayed me more than anything :) Hopefully, I’m going to be looking at it for many years.

Buy a Baratza Virtuoso+, or save a bit more and buy a higher quality grinder for filter coffee?
Any of these grinders will be a huge improvement over the blade grinder.
Whether it's worth it, it's highly personal. For some, anything above Encore will be diminishing returns. For others, the difference is big and totally worth it.
I'd probably get Comandante or a comparable hand grinder, as I think it's the 'end game' grinder for many and not much more expensive than Virtuoso.
