I created my WB Games account through Steam, far as I can tell, never used my email.

Now the login page for a WB Games account asks for an email.

I can play Multiversus, it syncs automatically betwen my desktop PC and my Steam Deck, but I can't log into my PS5 or get into the account page to change my display name(which has a typo in it).

I was reading some other posts and logging into my WB account have just found out that according to WB games support if someone gets a hold of your WB-games account, all they need to do is press Delete and there is no way of getting it back.

A deleted account also permanently removes the username from being reusable again, this is bad as if the account is unintentionally deleted usernames also can’t be recovered or if a player wants their name back after changing it.

I fear if accounts are instantly deleteable and a huge exploit is found, many players JUST LIKE YOU will loose their progress and payments. This is why other games like Fortnite and Minecraft have a period before accounts are fully deleted and names reusable after a while.

If there’s anything important to Fix please, let it be this. 🙏

Trying to use the account I use on PS on my xbox, but I can't figure out what email or username is even attached to it

Is there a way to see it in game on my PS??

Edit: I didn't figure it out but I logged into my account on Xbox by just guessing
