Looking to buy my first jersey and as someone who is between two sizes I'm not sure which way to go. I've read that hockey jersey's tend to be baggier so I'm thinking I should go with the smaller size so I'm not swimming in it. How did you find the sizing to be?
TIA!

Which types of jerseys does NHL Shop offer?
So, I am trying to get my girlfriend into the game, and I thought the logical next step in the progression of hockey fandom is a jersey. I have a couple questions. If it helps, she is about 5'4" and quite petite. I wanted to get her a custom one with her name and college sports number. So keep that in mind:

Men's Small or Women's Sizing? Kids jerseys are out because their custom embroidery sucks. I feel like she might be swimming in a men's small, but that in general the women's jerseys are a bit strange.

Any ladies care to provide some sizing advice for the women's jerseys?

Also, a single reviewer on NHL.com suggested that the embroidery for women's jerseys isn't actually stitched on. Is this accurate? Are they just glued? Silkscreened?
Thank you everyone for your help!
