My first thought was failed heating element so i replaced that. Still no heat. When I replaced the heating element i thought i checked the thermal cutoff but when i checked it again today it was blown, totally could have checked it wrong last week but i remember it ohming out. the temp select switch might be the problem as i can only get continuity acrost 2 of the 3 selectors.
my current plan is to replace the temp select switch, the thermal cutoff and operating thermostat (which are sold as a pair), and the high limit thermostat. does this sound like a good plan or am i about to waist my money?
Is there anything else that is likely to be causing the problem?
Whirlpool dryer, no heat still spinning and blowing. model wed49stbw1
Whirlpool dryer (med655dw1) not heating and it's not the thermal fuse.
Make sure you have 240VAC coming to the dryer. After that look at this video
