My WED9200SQ1 has blown two thermal fuses in 3 days. After replacing the fuses, the dryer runs VERY hot. Today, I tested the element for a short, but did not find one. However, the element looks like it got quite hot.

Hi, · Do you mean that you have replaced the “….Cycling Thermostat, Thermal Cutoff Switch, and the heating element itself” or not? · If not check that the Hi Limit thermostat is OK and also that the resistance of the heater element is OK. I don’t know what the resistance value of the heater is, but research online seems to indicate that it is a 240V 5400W heater so the resistance is ~10ΩHere’s the wiring sheet for the dryer that may also help in case it is a wiring problem

Well it depends on who you ask. But when you pay an appliance repair company, you are not just paying them to replace the part, you are also paying them for the knowledge of why that part has failed. Thermal fuses always fail for a reason. We would do this repair for $220-$300 depending on the exact issue.
