Hey guy, by the end of December I had no issues watching You on Netflix, suddenly can't find it. why?
Videos
This just started happening recently, I moved to a new place and now Netflix won’t let me play anything! I can select the title but it only has the option to “remind me” and not to play. I am in south Mississippi, but I didn’t have any of these issues like a few days ago. Not sure what to do
I've had netflix for a couple months now, watching on both my phone & laptop, as of yesterday it stopped working on just my laptop.
At first it'll ask me to sign in once opening the app (I never had to re-sign in before besides the 1st time registering), after signing in my Gmail notifies that there's a new login device to which I'll then pick a show to watch on laptop, just for it to sign me out.
After some research I tried a few possible solutions: clearing the browsers cache, repairing & resetting the netflix app via app settings, uninstall and reinstall.
And now when I sign in to watch anything I get the popup msg: "this title is not available to watch instantly. please try another title - 1044"
Edit: the browser version works on pc apparently
Thanks for reading, any advice will be helpful.
Hello Aju_8, thank you for reaching out to us today.
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing difficulties with downloading and using Netflix on both your laptop and PC.
There could be several reasons for this issue, and I'll provide some troubleshooting steps to help you resolve it:
- Check for App Updates: Make sure that the Netflix app is up-to-date on both your laptop and PC. Sometimes, outdated apps can cause problems. Go to the respective app stores (Microsoft Store on Windows, and App Store or Google Play Store on your laptop) and check for updates for the Netflix app.
- Check Internet Connection: Ensure that you have a stable internet connection on both devices. Streaming and downloading require a good connection, so make sure you are connected to the internet and that there are no issues with your network.
- Clear App Cache (Mobile Devices Only): If you are trying to download Netflix on a mobile device, clearing the app's cache can sometimes resolve issues. Go to the app settings, find Netflix, and clear the cache. Keep in mind that this option is not available on laptops or PCs.
- Disable VPN or Proxy: If you are using a VPN or proxy service, try disabling it and then attempt to download Netflix again. Some VPNs and proxies may interfere with the app's functionality.
- Check Device Compatibility: Ensure that your laptop and PC meet the minimum requirements for running Netflix. Check Netflix's official website for system requirements and compatibility information.
- Reinstall Netflix App: If the app is still not functioning correctly, try uninstalling it from your laptop and PC, then reinstall it from the official app store.
- Contact Netflix Support: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it's best to reach out to Netflix customer support. They may have insights into any known issues or can provide specific troubleshooting steps for your situation.
Remember, the Netflix subscription cost is not wasted during technical issues like this.
Netflix understands that users may face problems from time to time, and they usually offer customer support to help resolve them.

Hi!
Thank you for taking your time out to reply!
The problem here is that I do not have the Netflix app downloaded. I can't download it because the Microsoft store does not have it when it should have.
