Ok so the Amazon Prime visa has a $250 amazon gift card sign up bonus which will immediately be added to your amazon account and also no forex fees. This is amazing for a card without *annual fee. (You do need to buy the prime membership to get the $250 giftcard).
BUT, you can cancel the membership for prime and then still keep the giftcard. The card will downgrade and give 3% back instead of 5% automatically but you will still have the no forex fee which is absolutely gold!

Yes, it’s an excellent card. One of the only cards with a sign-up bonus of this size that is awarded instantly with no spending requirements. No annual fee, no foreign transaction fee, unlimited 5% back not just for Amazon but also other companies owned by Amazon including Whole Foods, Audible, Twitch, etc. plus on Chase Travel portal bookings. 2% gas, dining, and transit can be useful for some people who don’t have a 2% catch-all or other 0% foreign transaction fee card yet as well. You also get purchase protection, extended warranty, baggage delay insurance, lost luggage reimbursement, travel accident insurance, and auto rental coverage. And the card gets good offers from Chase sometimes, like 5% back on all groceries spending for a limited time.
