February 15, 2021The 1.17 update looks especially like a mod. Do you agree?
They're definitely more 'out there' compared to previous updates, but I think it's good that Mojang is trying out new things, otherwise the game would get pretty stale if it always stuck to the same concepts. However, one thing I don't like is the archaeology system. It feels so disconnected from the rest of the game, and that makes it feel 'modded' to me.
