list of the 10,000 most used words?
I googled and found some resources. I looked into getting more actual frequency dictionaries but man it’s expensive. I’ll see if I can find the frequency lists again (hopefully bookmarked but 🤷‍♀️ Edit: added link http://frequencylists.blogspot.com/2016/05/the-8600-most-frequently-used-spanish.html?m=1 More on reddit.com

10,000 sentence method for Spanish
I have to say, this is the first time I've heard of the 10000 sentences method, and I'm skeptical. What I don't like is that it's supposed to cover, what, 18 months of language study, but by using only single sentences, you need to piece together the grammar from likely incomplete information. While 10k sentences is a lot, it's still possible for certain grammatical features to slip through the cracks, and you'd be spending a lot of time trying to reconstruct the grammar when adults have the ability to learn systems as a whole. Along with that, while sentences are nice, they are not the smallest unit of information; texts are. This just reeks of the audiolingual method to me, and I'm definitely not a fan. More on reddit.com

March 31, 2020 -

I started learning Spanish a few months ago and I decided to change my phone's language to Spanish, and now the numbers of likes on Youtube display in a weird way - for example, "53.26". Is that supposed to mean 53260, 5326 or something else?
