I am asking because the website says they do but I tried to exchange GBP£ for euros in March and the woman at the post office desk said "sorry, we don't buy currency." This was the main post office too, not a tiny branch office. (I ended up posting it to a friend in the UK who posted euros back to me, it felt like the 80s.)
I'm about to return from the US with a few hundred in cash and I just want to know if I can definitely exchange it for Euros at the post office. Otherwise I'll take the even worse exchange rate and exchange for euros at Logan airport.

Airport exchanges have shocking rates If you can give the cash to someone in the us with revolut, they can transfer it to an eu revolut account holder, and I would say you'll get much better rates
