I'm a man that's had hypothyroidism most of my life. I have never once modified my diet in regards to it. I take my medication and get on.

A few months ago, I worked with a nutritionist to come up with a list of meal ideas where I could switch up the meat and vegetables easily. They are all low-ish carb (although I don’t count macros so I might be wrong), gluten-free, dairy-free, and soy-free. Here are some of the ideas: Burger salad: turkey burger/beef burger/pork meatball on top of salad greens, with roasted sweet potato fries (I’ve also done roasted carrot or parsnip), sliced red onion, cherry tomatoes, etc. Basically a deconstructed burger plate with whatever veggies and greens I have. Mexican bowls over cauliflower rice - with taco-spiced ground beef/chicken/turkey and seasonal veg Cauliflower pizza crust - with ground sausage and seasonal veggies and tomato sauce Stir-fry - ginger/garlic/chiles with whatever veggies and protein, with a sauce of coconut aminos/rice vinegar/sesame oil Spaghetti squash casserole - spag squash, cauliflower rice, seasonal veg and shredded chicken, with a coconut milk sauce. Baked and served with a green salad usually. Stuffed vegetables - zucchini/eggplant/peppers/tomatoes during the summer, squash during the winter. Coleslaw with protein side - whatever veg I have with a creamy mayo-based dressing and served cold, with either shredded pork/chicken or a side of protein I have some other ideas written down but I’m not home!
