It didn't gain that monumental beauty that makes it such a well-photographed area until they planted the hydrangea bushes, which you'll now find in bloom for nearly the entire year. The name Lombard actually has no link to San Francisco history.

They are constantly doing maintenance and incorporating renovations to the rooms, this time I went, they were just changing the old air/heating for new models (they were not enabled yet, but they were in the process) it has included and secure parking inside the property ( fundamental in San Francisco), the area is very nice, on Lombard St.
