December 3, 2015 - I purchased two (2) 18 watt LED work lights to mount to the front/rear of my SS12. I also purchased a 12V Power Switch & Relay Wiring Harness Kit which includes a fuse. My intention is to wire this kit directly to the battery along with the two lights. I would expect the charging system to refresh the battery while the engine is running. When the tractor is not in use, I usually keep a battery tender connected.

February 19, 2022 - The only issue I had after three years was at the start of the second year one of the lenses of the cab lights fell out. I contacted Tiger and they sent me a replacement. Other than that issue, they were easily one of if not the best upgrade we did to that combine. It drastically cut the load on the alternator (it wouldn't even move the volt meter when you turned all the lights on) and the visibility at night was incredible.

You should be good with LED’s we converted our 8N’s over to 12v internally regulated alternators years ago for brighter lighting...
