You will need to use an LED driver capable of 12V DC and most landscape lighting transformers are 12v AC. You can use an AC to DC converter as an alternative option. That said, what size is the gazebo? 24vdc is probably a better option for tape light as 12vdc is limited to about 16.5ft where 24vdc can hit around 60ft for a 1.5w/ft tape from a single side injection (if this is over your head no worries, ask away) And now the honesty moment : for the sake of ease, in a DIY environment. Just go with outdoor string lights. Everyone loves them in exterior environments and they weather better. Get the ones with replaceable Edison type bulbs and pick up 2200k, 2400k or 2700k bulbs for them (lowest watt you see available to you). It's just easier to manage voltage drop with 24v especially if you need to power multiple strips. For digital, 24v is nice but the leds are usually addressable per group of 6. 12v: Easier access to power supply and controllers.
