Has anyone set up color changing and/or dimmable LED light strips in their van, running directly off 12V? I don't have an inverter, just run a few appliances (fan, lights, fridge) through a 12V DC switch panel. I successfully connected a plain white LED light strip directly to the panel and then realized it's bright af and would be nice to have a color changing or dimmable option..
All the color changing/dimmable strips I've seen say 12V/DC BUT they all seem to have an adapter that needs to plug in to a wall, and a remote sensor or dim switch that connects between the light strip and the adapter. Is there a way to skip the AC adapter but still use the remote or dim switch? The color changing strips also have 4 wires, so I don't know how I would connect that to my switch panel.

^This is the kit I'm considering. Hoping someone can advise if it's possible to use (and sorry if it's a noob question!) Thanks!
Superbrightleds.com is what I used. They sell tuneable LED strips with an in-line RF wireless congtroller. No bluetooth necessary, runs 12v off of my battery. I have the A little pricey but they're hands down one of the nicest additions to my van.

This is what I use. Straight to USB port, no modifications necessary.
