Hello! The most recent price check post I could find was from half a year ago, so thought it wouldn't hurt to ask. I'm considering buying a used 2021 16" MacBook Pro M1 Max / 1TB / 64GB RAM / 10 CPU / 32 GPU for $1740. The battery is at 89% and has only been through 108 cycles.
Is this a fair price to pay or should I look for a better deal?

The price is not bad. Although for this budget a new Pro M4 14'' with less memory and SSD is also an option. Which one is better for you depends on what you use the machine for and for long you plan to use it.

Whys it so expensive? I got my MBP M1 Max 24-core 32gb 1tb 16" for $795 + tax (USD) on ebay it only had 2-3 dings on the top and a few minor scratch and wear on the exterior body and the screen is 95% like new and is sitting at 88% battery health at 500 cycles.

Hi. I just bought an M1 Pro MacBook pro 2021 16 inch 16gb 1TB for about 840 USD in Japan. It's in Extremely good condition with the original box and all accessories it came with. Battery cycle count :56 Battery capacity: 97%
Is it worth the price and is it still a good machine in 2025 mid? Had to upgrade since I broke my 2015 MBP 15"s screen. Thanks in advance.
