Does anyone know a good online shop for finding 1910s or 1920s men's suits?
Idk if you’re still looking (and if you’ve found anything more please share), but Shelby & Son is a european brand that make modern suits in a 20’s style. The waists on the trousers are obviously too low, and there’s no suspender buttons, and the legs are too short, but the pricing is okay and at least the suit parts feel high quality for the price (they sell shirts as well but i don’t like them, although they’re an okay modernisation). They’re obviously inspired by Peaky Blinders, but don’t only have grey and black in their repertoire, thank god lol They sell on Zalando and Asos, and can probably be found in the US as well More on reddit.com

Slim fit suits in bold patterns (e.g. wide stripes, plaid, tweed, and herringbone) with a 3 or 4 button closure, wide lapels, and flat front trousers are all very ’20s. Grey, brown, and blue suits were the most common colors. In summer, a striped seersucker or ivory linen suit was both cool ...

What Men REALLY Wore In The 1920s | Gentleman's Gazette
The 1920s saw a significant shift in men’s suits. The jackets of the ’20s were cut much more closely to the body to accentuate the natural waist. If you look at them today, they’re much closer to a body coat than a modern suit. Spring fashions in 1929 showed three-piece, double-breasted, and single-breasted looks with full cuts and drape in the chest

r/VintageFashion on Reddit: Does anyone know a good online shop for finding 1910s or 1920s men's suits?
December 22, 2021 -
I'm thinking about buying a suit that looks like it is from the 1910s or 1920s. A modern reproduction would do just fine; no need for it to be actually a hundred years old. Does anyone know any good online shops for finding reproductions of suits from that era? A lot of what I find online is very cheap and looks like it is a costume. I don't want anything that looks like a caricature of gangsters from the '20s or '30s. My goal is to find something which looks reasonably authentic, hopefully without breaking the bank. The best sites I have found so far are Vintage Dancer and Darcy Clothing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Suits: The Golden Age (1918 to 1966) – Cathcart
October 24, 2023 - The details, swollen seams, rear ‘hook’ vent, narrow lapels and narrow trousers were combined with casual cloths – including corduroy – to make suits that were as comfortable as they were stylish. It was a look that emerged in the 1920s and continued to be popular among American students for many years, eventually taking hold in the mainstream, spreading overseas and helping to define American fashions of the late 1950s and 1960s.

October 12, 2021 - Also if you want a classic looking 20s suit, some vintage three piece suits from Brooks Brothers from the 50s or 60s are basically the same cut, unchanged. Just have to look through hundreds of items on Ebay. Don't bother looking for originals, they are rare, scarce and very very expensive, also american ones have a very low rise unfortunately. Simon James Cathcart that was linked above has made a lot of 1910s-1920s inspired suits.
