1Password installing Microsoft Edge?
Why does edge disable 1Password over and over again
1Password extension for Edge has been stuck on this. What's going on?
How can I use 1P on the Edge browser on my iPhone?
I do not have MS Edge installed on my machine. I have never installed it. Yet there are folders with the above names being created immediately after I log in.
I delete the folders. Log in again, and they reappear.
Looking at the contents of the .json files, the reference 1Password.
Is there any reason that 1Password would be automatically installing the folders in the picture? ? I can see folders with these names being created in the "Library" folder immediately after I log in.
Here's the contents of one of the files (note that I do not use Chrome).
file path: ~/Library/Microsoft Edge/NativeMessagingHosts/
filename: com.1password.1password.json
file contents:
{
"name": "com.1password.1password",
"description": "1Password BrowserSupport",
"path": "/Applications/1Password.app/Contents/Library/LoginItems/1Password Browser Helper.app/Contents/MacOS/1Password-BrowserSupport",
"type": "stdio",
"allowed_origins": [

"chrome-extension://khgocmkkpikpnmmkgmdnfckapcdkgfaf/",
"chrome-extension://aeblfdkhhhdcdjpifhhbdiojplfjncoa/",
"chrome-extension://dppgmdbiimibapkepcbdbmkaabgiofem/"
]
}
I can't seem to figure out if this is possible. I use Edge for work (vs Safari for personal) and want to do the same on my iPhone. But I can't figure out how to use iPassword in a non-safari browser when on an iOS device. Is this possible?
