Desktop and Browser connection not working
I'm runniing 1Password 8.10.44 on macOS 14.6.1 with Firefox 130.0, and I have the 1Password firefox extension installed, version 8.10.44.34. I'm having some difficulty with the integration between the browser extension and the application.
Initially, I was trying to enable TouchID to unlock the browser extension; it already works for the desktop application. Based on a suggestion I saw here from about a year ago, I disabled integration between the extension and the app in the browser extension settings, quit both the desktop app and the browser, restarted both, and attempted to re-enable integration in the extension's settings. When I re-enabled that option, however, I got a message stating "Problems connecting. Please make sure the 1Password app is unlocked." The app is definitely unlocked.
Any suggestions on how I can get this working again?
On my (Mac) laptop, I have it set up so if I log on to my desktop app, it'll also log me on to the individual browser apps.
On my (also Mac) desktop, however, they aren't connected, so I have to log into each browser profile separately from each other and from the desktop app.
I've checked the settings in both the browser and desktop app and they are both turned on to see each other, and I've tried turning them off and back on, but all to no avail.
Is there a trick to getting them integrated?
