I don’t want to encourage them to charge more. But password security and access to important things everywhere just for you is valuable. I have credit cards on there, important documents, more than just passwords. For me and my spouse securely sharing up to the minute passwords is great feature. More on reddit.com

Been paying the same family price (USD 59.85) since 2018, but won’t be surprised if they do raise prices in the future. That after all, is the price you pay for a software subscription, and not a 1 time license price, but the development and upgrades that has gone into it since is well worth it IMO. One thing worth considering is that 1Password is increasingly focusing their development on B2B features, and usually is a good sign because businesses are less price sensitive than customers and 1Password can pass costs on to them more than retail customers. January 21, 2025Anyone else thing that the 1Password MSP offering is overpriced?
Yes!!! We love 1Password but there is no way I can get clients to pay that amount. it is so high it is nearly impossible to bury in the managed bundle. It needs to be about $1/mo, imho. And most customers don’t need all the team and sharing features. They’d be fine with a simple standalone license for each user. Start small since it’s such a lift to get customers to even understand why they need to use a password manager in the first place. Also for the average user it is a little complicated to use and figure out. Edit to add: we tried Keeper and it was a failure. Clients complained they couldn’t figure it out (and it too was expensive I thought). (We also personally didn’t like Keeper at all and I forget now what the issues were. ). At present we help clients purchase/use the password manager of their choice. Which I guess is better than nothing. More on reddit.com

I was using 1password as a free benefit from being a corporate user. I just left that job and now I am in a 14 day trial period. $60 a year seems a little steep for for what this is.
I wish they offered a discount for buying multiple years or offered a lifetime subscription. I just hate reoccurring charges.
