I tried everything, restarting my computer, uninstalling and reinstalling, force closing the app, and end task manager. This hasn't happened before, and now it's just opening up a blank window all the time. It was working completely fine yesterday and now I cannot access my accounts. Is anyone else having this issue?
UPDATE: I went to the forums and found this workaround, It has worked for me:
Thanks for letting us know about this! This is something we're investigating, and this should get you sorted out:
Right click the 1Password icon in your system tray > Quit.
Type the following into your Windows search bar, and hit Enter: %localappdata%\1Password\settings
Open the settings.jsonfile and look for "appearance.useSystemAccentColor": true,.
If it is present, change it to "appearance.useSystemAccentColor": false,. If it's not present, add "appearance.useSystemAccentColor": falseto the bottom of the settings list.Note: Be sure to also add a comma at the end of the preceding setting, for instance:
{"app.double":false,"appearance.useSystemAccentColor": false}
Save the file, then attempt to launch and use 1Password again.
Credits to Jack from the 1password team for this solution!
Let me know how you get on with that!
Odd problem. For some reason, the 1Password desktop app no longer opens on some of the computers I use daily. I typically hit the Windows key, type "1P...", then hit Enter to open the 1Password app (which Windows 11 has just offered me as the best match). Then... nothing. Icon doesn't appear in taskbar, app doesn't open. Task Manager shows three processes named 1Password active, which seems odd to me but I have only a dim understanding of processes.
I'm able to use the 1Password extension in my web browser. I just can't get to the desktop app.
I guess I'll uninstall and reinstall but I am wondering if anybody can explain this. Worries me when things just stop working like this.
I have the latest version of Windows 11 with all updates installed, and the latest version of the 1Password Windows App as shown in the screenshots below. Yet I still can't get the Autofill tab to show up in the 1Password App. It appears this needs to be checked to be able to have 1Password show up in the Windows/Accounts/Passkeys/Advanced section so you can select it. My laptop is older but still gets the monthly MS updates and is running 25H2.
The 1password 7 windows 10 app is not working. As of 08/02/2021 I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the application but it will not open. Any ideas on how to fix this? It worked a few days ago.
