Trying to upgrade the RAM on my 5820 Tower from 16GB to 128GB. Purchased DIMMs from NewEgg, but getting a diagnostic error upon boot up, 2 amber - 5 white, which indicates a memory issue.
The sticks are (4) Crucial CT32G4RFD4266.36EF1, 32GB DDR4 - 2666 RDIMM 1.2v CL19According to all I've read, these should work.
Any suggestions?
I installed in DIMM1, 2, 3 and 4, leaving 5, 6, 7 & 8 empty.

Turns out, I can't upgrade this box. I pulled the 2 8GB DIMMS, and attempted a second time with newly purchased 16GB DIMMS to fill the 8 slots. But no dice on this either. I'm stuck at 16gb, and cannot upgrade. Anyone have an alternative machine that won't break the bank and allow at least 64GB of RAM?
