Today we're looking at games for two. Whether it's gaming with your partner, your best friend, or your arch nemesis, what are your favorite games for head-to-head play, and what makes them so great? Abstracts, euros, co-ops, war games, anything goes! Don't limit yourself to two-player only games either, anything that you love to play at two players is fair game in this thread!

Feel free to reply to suggestions here and add in your thoughts, or even other recommendations for people who you think would like the games already recommended.

Help people identify your game suggestions easily by bolding the game names. It's easy! Just surround the game name with two asterisks (**) and it will show up bold. If you reply to any comment that has a game name in bold with "/u/r2d8 getparentinfo", one of our robots will tell you more about the game

Hi, I wanted to ask if there are any two player games that I could play online with my GF.

Doesn't have to be anything impressive, just want something that you don't need to download or create accounts on. I know survive.io and agar.io are multiplayer friendly, but anything else you could recommend would be very helpful.

It's only the two of us so some games might not work with just two players.
