Lots of advice on here for 5k to 10k batteries but I don't see a lot of discussions about high capacity ones. Nitecore has a 20k battery, and I'm currently leaning towards that, but I'm really looking for the lightest max capacity battery I can get.
I know 27,000 mah is overkill for most, but I use my phone a lot on the trail and it's helpful for group trips.
So any recommendations? I know there's no such thing as a "light" 27,000 mah battery, but I'm hoping to find one lighter than others.

A single large power bank will probably take more time to recharge, than say three NB-10000. Also will have less redundancy and be a single point of failure than three NB-10000. Also for group trips three separate NB-10000 will let 3 different people use them (and carry them) than a single power bank. Also for shorter trips maybe only taking one of the NB-10000 is feasible. And one can get 3 wall chargers to parallel charge three NB-10000. In summary, I can understand why there are not too many larger powerbanks sold. RAIP: Redundant Array of Independent Powerbanks. Hmmm, isn't that a Tesla?

Nitecore Carbo 20000 and a Nitecore NL2150RX gets you pretty close for lighter than anything else. Add another NL2150RX if you need a bit more. But seriously, at that amount of battery, optimizing the usage and settings of your phone can make an absolutely massive difference.

I have at least one old 2600 mAh powerbank sitting around. I mostly do overnight and weekend Bikepacking, and plan to do a shortish tour that will take about a week at some point, but that's about the extent of my touring for the foreseeable future. I know charging technology has gotten way better since I came across my current powerbank. Is it even worth it to use this one, or I should I spend the money for something with more capacity? I'll only be using it to charge my phone (iPhone 8) and maybe a rear light, and my riding will be in places that aren't very remote.

It seems that most modern phones, at least the flagship ones, have a battery capacity over 4000mAh. A 2600mAh power bank wouldn't even fully charge any of them once. You'd get a charge on your iPhone 8, but it would probably still be worth carrying a larger one for anything more than an overnighter.

Min should be 10000 mah ( which probably is real world rated at 8000mah) 20000 is twice as good. They are so cheap/good now….
