We just bought our home in the Hudson Valley and need to install shower doors/wall/glass/whatever in this tiny shower. We thought it would be easy, but due to the fact that the tray measures 30x30, it's not easy to find glass under $800. I found a lot of options that are 31.5x31.5 which is the dimensions if the glass were to sit right outside of the tray - is that even possible?
We are trying to find an economical solution but are coming up with nothing. We even talked about getting a bigger tray but with the work that would take, I'm guessing it would end up being as expensive as getting custom doors. Any insight is appreciated.

The cheapest way to do this is going to be to go to a big box store and buy a premade shower kit with a pan that looks like yours. It would probably be a few hundred bucks and you would have an extra pan that you would throw away but I would suspect you can find something that will work. Ultimately there are companies that will make a glass shower. It would look pretty cool there but probably cost considerably more. My guess is at least 1000.

My house is from 1953 and they crammed the smallest shower in there. It was a concrete slab or something that I broke up with a hammer and chisel. Anyways..
All the bases I find are usually 34x34 at the smallest. Any ideas how to get a shower base or any tricks of the trade?

yeah you build that yourself you don't buy one. what you need is to replace that drain pipe and drain with a pvc pipe and fitting then you lay down membrane .. thick rubber and don't cut it you fold the corners.. then fill that with mortar made of 1 part portland cement 5 parts sand and mix it really dry .. fill the area and then slope it towards the drain.. .. I can't explain it all but hit YouTube and there are lots of howto videos that show the full process. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CXTAkwMqtEc its not real hard
