My fiance and I are looking for a decent black sink, but we've read a lot of mixed reviews on them. The most common one is that they scratch so easily and lose their beauty after a short time.
I know this is a strange request, but any help would be appreciated.

I have a black sink and its held up well after 2 years of daily use. I'm not gonna be able to tell you the manufacturer but it was made in India and only in the 2-300 range. Edit: winslyn is the brand

I know this doesn't directly answer your question, but I have a regular stainless farmhouse sink from a very reputable brand and although it's otherwise very well-built, it does scratch very easily. I have to be much more careful with it than I would have preferred, but I still love it. That said, I'd imagine black stainless probably scratches just as easily, and the scratches may be more prominent, especially if it's the type of black stainless that's just a dark plastic film on top of regular SS. Could be the Warranty. A lot of Kohler stuff has a lifetime warranty. I'm the 4th or 5th owner of a house and had to replace my shower hot water mixer cartridge. Kohler replaced the 20 year old part that was quoted $500 from a plumbing service. More on reddit.com
