Can't log in my Microsoft 365 email from Godaddy

I’m having issues logging in to my godaddy outlook email because it keeps getting stuck in a login loop. I called godaddy and they said that there is already an incident report and the issue will be fixed soon but I’m not sure I trust that. I was wondering if anyone had any solutions I can try? I’ve tried different browsers, incognito mode and resetting the password.
Hello Tina
Best guess: GoDaddy set up your email in office 365. (They are moving all accounts to office 365 hosting).
You have two options: add an outlook.com alias to your Microsoft account and remove the GoDaddy address or, if you only have one address in the domain (6 if you have a Family subscription), use outlook.com for personalized email.

Good morning Diane! I really appreciate your prompt response.
I have tried to retrieve my account in Microsoft but they no longer recognize my account under that email address to change the alias. They say that email/user name does not exist. I do still have my files in OneDrive as READ ONLY for now (can’t edit or download). Is there anyway to speak to someone at Microsoft? I do still have proof of payment for annual subscription paid April 21, 2022 for this personal account.
GoDaddy migrated everything yesterday on 9-7-2022, but they say it did not affect this particular email address because I was already using it in 365 for several years. The isssue began on 9-6-2022 when TEAMS expired (I think the free trial of TEAMS was established by GoDaddy in 2020 to assist with pandemic communication - associated with this same email address).
Thank you!
Very long story, so will try to be as concise as possible. Client needed to switch email providers in December because old provider croaked. Signed her up for Go Daddy office 365 email. After completing the setup process we were able to receive and send mail using web mail, but could not add the email account to ANY email app on any device. Problem was that during the account adding process, it redirected to the Microsoft login page rather than the GoDaddy SSO login page. And when trying to login through the Microsoft login page it said the account credentials were invalid.
Long story short, GoDaddy Support gave us the runaround and made it seem like a DNS propagation issue. But months later we still have the same problem. Since this issue began, Godaddy’s useless support has now blamed a DNS issue, a password issue, an email app issue, everything else under the sun. They are useless. We’ve tested this on 3 different phones, 2 different computers, and 3 different internet connections. We even moved the domain name servers over to GoDaddy. They don’t even understand the problem let alone have a solution. Has anyone encountered this? At this point, I’m ready to just tell my client to dump GoDaddy altogether but I’d much prefer to find a workaround.
GoDaddy is one of the worst providers I have ever come across for hosting anything. Their support is awful too. You’re much better off finding a more reliable and trustworthy web hosting provider with better customer service and support.
There are many web hosting providers available in the market, and it’s essential to do your research and choose a provider that can offer you the reliability and support that you need for the website.
You could also host this by using a cloud hosting service such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
However self-hosting requires more technical expertise and maintenance than using a third-party hosting provider, so it’s important to consider your own skills and resources before deciding to go this route.
I cannot, however, setup email accounts in Outlook for desktop
Errors or what happens would be helpful.
Did you apply a license?
The TXT record you removed, if your DNS is still hosted by GoDaddy may have to stay.
Hi all,
While I wait for Microsoft to reply, I was hoping maybe folks here had experience with this.
I backed up a small company ( 3 email accounts) to archives, then called GoDaddy to release the 365 tenant from their end. I then setup the customer directly with Microsoft.
All DNS checks pass in the Microsoft setup checker.
We can access outlook.com without any issue and send/receive email from there.
I cannot, however, setup email accounts in Outlook for desktop (which the customers prefer, and which I was hoping to import the pst backups to repopulate their email)
It hasn’t quite been 24 hours, but it’s getting close. Is this normal?
To troubleshoot, I did remove one TXT entry from the GoDaddy DNS entries that looked like it was added by godaddy (NETORGFTXXXXXX.onmicrosoft.com)
Didn’t seem to help or make a difference. Hoping someone here can help us expedite the process so I can start loading email backups back in, thanks!
