Yes, as a matter of fact I installed the Basic edition on my back-up PC a couple hours ago, I downloaded it from Techspot.com , it's a bit over 10gb download. Then I ran the Time Spy benchmark. I have the Paid-for version of 3DMark on my Main PC, I have that through Steam. About the main difference from running Time Spy on the 2 different versions, is that on the Free Basic version you can't shut off the Demo (which auto runs just before the benchmark) More on reddit.com

hey all, just got my first real gaming laptop and wanna test it.
I went to steam to download timespy but it says I need 3d mark first.
Go to 3dmark and it says I need to purchase it for around 30 bucks.
Is this correct? So everyone here showing their timespy marks has paid for 3dmark? Is there a way to do this without paying?
Just got a GE76 Raider 3080/i9 10980hk and I wanna test it out.
