I've bought 2 camping (memory foam/hd foam) mattresses off Amazon and they both promised to be 4 inches but were only 2.5. Not sure why. Is there an honest company on amazon that will send me an actual 4 inch matress that is supportive for a side sleeper? Would be great if it could be 75 inches long. Thanks!
Basically what the title says. I’m a stomach sleeper trying to transition to sleeping on my side since I heard it’s healthier. I’ve always had a lot of upper back and shoulder pain, but I honestly think it’s been about the same since I switched to a thin mattress on the floor.
Basically, how am I supposed to figure out which bed configuration is best? Lots of cultures sleep with a thin layer on the ground, and many people say it’s better for your back. However I also have a hard time letting go of the idea that bed frame + box spring is the only way to go. What do you guys recommend for the average person? Is a foam mattress on the floor going to cause my body damage?
I could go wider too, I’d have to cut it up to shape it but I’d have a little bit of an L shape in the back for more space 🤔 I could also just use my current foam pads and make the L shape that way. I don’t even utilize much of that L anyways 🤔
