Why is resolution important for a 43 inch TV?
Resolution is a term that describes the density at which these minuscule dots, known as pixels, are arranged on the display. These individual pixels come together to form the image that is visible on the screen. As a result, a greater pixel count directly correlates with a higher resolution, yielding a clearer and more detailed picture.
Samsung's 43 inch TVs come in FHD and 4K UHD resolutions like the following:
• 4K UHD (Ultra HD) - 3840 pixels x 2160 pixels
• 1080p/FHD (Full HD) - 1920 pixels x 1080 pixels
4K UHD TVs have four times as many pixels as FHD, so you can experience a sharper and more vivid picture quality.

r/hometheater on Reddit: Which is the minimum TV screen size to really enjoy the details of 4K videos?
April 21, 2024 -
I am at the moment living in a rented apartment. My room is very small so I purchased a 32 inches Samsung TV. Its a HD Ready (720p) TV. When I asked about a 4K TV the sales guy told me that there are no 4K or even 1080p 32inch panels. He also told me that even if I manage to find a 1080p 32inch TV I won't be able to tell the difference in this size.
The minimum TV size for 4K resolution is 43 inches. That's what I found by visiting multiple shops here. But that's not my question.
Which is the minimum TV screen size to really enjoy the details of 4K videos? Is 43 inches really enough ? Or should I go for TVs bigger than 43 inches?
The first thing I will be purchasing after moving to our own home is a new TV. Please share your opinion.

Use any of the online guides. This one is a strong reference. Scroll through it until you get the colour graph titled “Optimal Viewing Distance by the size of the television and the resolution”. The human eye has a very specific and consistent ability to resolve a certain level of detail at a certain distance. It doesn’t really vary from person to person. So if you’re too far away from a 4K screen for example, you cannot see the detail of 4K and the best your eyes can do is resolve it at 1080p. Or worse. Typically, there will be people that jump in to argue all this and claim that they can see 4k details on a 48” screen from 15’ away or something silly. No they can’t. It’s been disproven countless times and it’s a tired argument made by people trying to justify their bad purchasing decisions or poor viewing room layout. Ignore those people. The chart on the web page tells you how close you need to be, and the size of the screen, in order to get any benefit from 4k. You may need to move your couch closer to your tv if you can only fit in a smaller 4k display. If you can’t sit within the range, you’re wasting money buying it. Save up for a larger one or move the seating closer.
